Terms of Service — VSCodeMobile

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VSCodeMobile ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may revise these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

VSCodeMobile provides a web interface and VS Code extension that allows you to remotely access your VS Code workspace from any browser. Features include an AI chat relay, integrated terminal, file explorer, and Git controls.

3. Account Registration

You must sign in via Google to use authenticated features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Subscription & Billing

Access to the Service requires an active paid subscription ($3/month or as otherwise stated).
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Prices are in USD.
You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
No refunds are issued for partial months, except where required by law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' workspaces or our systems
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Transmit malicious code, spam, or disruptive content through the Service
Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software comprising the Service are owned by VSCodeMobile or its licensors. You retain full ownership of your own code and files. We claim no intellectual property rights over your workspace content.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VSCODEMOBILE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for breach of these Terms. You may terminate your account by cancelling your subscription and ceasing to use the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which VSCodeMobile is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
